seats are easy. take some care with removing the plastic side mouldings in the rear of the car. front seats need unbolting to remove the carpet, take care not to rip it on sharp edges etc. i would leave the headlining in for now, decide on that at a later date. yeah, a heat gun and chisel/paint...
yep, the 2 peice carpet from the front footwells to under the front seat, and from under the front seat to just inside the rear bench. its so heavy! its very noisy when removed tho and you get puddles in the footwells from water off your shoes. lol
until you get you weekly shopping and it slides about everywhere. lol.
i loved the way my car sounded and handled etc, stripped bare but unfortunatly situations change and more comfort and practicality is needed. i would recommend stripping weight to everyone that can tho as its a free way to...
it does make a difference not a lot... but every little does help. on a daily road car there really is no point tho. or maybe im just getting old. lol.
the 182 was stripped bare (carpets and headlining included) 2 years ago, got fed up of it tho. remove the carpet if you want a weight saving...
197 cup an option? better build quality. good fun factor. great round bends/stopping. just as fast in a straight line as a 1*2. faster than an st in any situation and way cooler imo.
i wouldn't be surprised if the standard system isn't shagged by now. mine was 2 years old when i replaced it for a miltek and it had 3 holes in it and the baffles in the centre section had gone.
yep love mine. the mounts started to sag a few weeks in tho and needed packing for it to sit right. i love the sound tho. i wouldn't change the system. cant fault it.
