Where he can also distribute the refund-pints.
And they do various food options, in the style of a moderately-less-ropey-than-standard truck stop greasey-spoon
iTunes backup requires less spare storage to apply the software updates as part of the factory reset...yeah? (could very easily be wrong here)
Also, with a dicky battery, I'd not risk putting any more load on it than is required. Hell, it took 9 reboots for my 5 to come back to life after the...
backup to itunes, reset to factory.
cross fingers
Never backed up mine until it started doing this battery thing. Not sure it would make a difference. Just seems to happen.
It's contentious, but you dont need to give police any more reasons than possible to haul over a 172 clio with a young lad behind the wheel.
Ultimately, OP wont need to be anywhere near the phone anyway, all the audio can be controlled from the head unit and stalks.
OK, they may need to do...
Welcome aboard Chris.
RE: your stereo plans.
A decent headunit and a subwoofer is all you need. Changing the speakers on a 172 will be a whole world of bugger-about which, unless you're going to give those speakers a 'proper' amplifier to run off, will yield very little improvement.
CD-Slot...
Ah, your battery is unsync'd. My 5 started doing this the very day after 6s's were announced [insert conspiracy to taste]
If you do a total factory reset (backup phone through itunes, load all new updates, then apply backup) it MIGHT fix it.
Alternatively, it doesn't. And if you let it run...
After years of Zagg covers, I tried a tempered glass protector on my 5.
cracked with 1 short drop to the floor.
Sure, the screen intself was still fine but, well, I wont get another
I was told, in no uncertain terms, that the 1.9 CDTi (or however FIAT like to label it) is basically a bag of broken nails.
Which is a shame, because I think those GT's are lovely looking things... I'd be straight after a set of the Teledial wheels though ;)
This topic was in a thread all of a week ago, summarised below:
Not worth it
Boost /ITBs / cams would be a better waste of time and money
Just get a faster car
but it isn't as OMG SO FASSST! as it was when the 172 Ph.1 came out and was the xcheapest way to go silly-fast.
Besides, who does 0-100 anyway? In the real world a sales rep on a mission in their Mondeo will leave a Clio choking on their emissions unless said Clio is being revved up and...
Like a front-dragging MX5 in fact.
Indeed, there are many similarities. Including how, every 5 years, you need to chuck 1/3 of the worth of the car at it in parts and labour to keep it on the road
It's the truth. All you gain is a chavalious exhaust.
Megane will be quicker off the mark, but because its a bigger car, you may not really feel it.
Same goes for the newer Clios (197/200)
Can you not just get a 172 and money your way?
Either you buy a UK phone, and pay the support-tax with it.
Or get a Chinese one, and maybe post it back to Xhinghua Province when/if it s***s a microphone, accompanied by a google-translate cover letter.
If there was a sizeable cost difference on spec-for-spec, worth it. If you're only saving...
WHat kind of support do you realistically need for an android phone.
And given that you're trying to side-step costs "buy-cheap, buy twice" is never truer. If it gets a hardware problem, chuck it in a bin and pull out the next onwe.
YOu'll buy 3 buy the time you get a smimilar-spec LG
Not that I ever found.
Sometimes another Clio owner will viciously cut you up as they try to prove to themseles that £900 of modifications were totally worth it.
But no, owners-club waving isn't even massive in the MX5 community (well, it is for the Mk1/2 people, Mk.3's think they're a bit...
The benefits of a cup are all immediately made nought the second you sit in one after having eaten.
IN my mind, unless you're going to make a track-only car, then get a "proper" 172/182 and get all the toys.
Late-model 172 with cruise control, climate, xenons, 1/2 leather etc. was what I wound...
1) Angel eyes were banned in the early 2000's
2) Massive exhaust on a 1.2 litre Clio? Have a word with yourself there fella. Firstly it just sounds like a really damp fart, and now it's like farting throug a megaphone. There'll be no finger-bangs for you, but I'm guessing you're too young to...
