Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
True but I can't complain too much.
I got the same when I bought it and a very cheap price considering what other 182s were up for at the time. Got to soak up the same thing when you sell too!
Re: Pricing my clio
Mine is still for sale. Similar spec - RB182, 54 plate, 4th owner, belts done etc but mine has a few more miles on (79k now.)
I have it up for £4250 and still only minimal interest, no rush to sell, but it is scary how much you can get a good 182 for now!
I'll be keeping mine for 16 days :(
I'm moving overseas so if it isn't sold by then, it'll go back to my parents as a runaround until it sells!
After having a good drive in it tonight, I'd happily keep it for years :)
My old man has had a few:
Currently a mark 2 MX5 which is good fun to borrow and he also has a very loud 1961 Norton motorbike for sunny days - fantastic thing!
Past: Granada 3.0, Capri, MGB Roadster, BMW 525e 2.7 barge and a '49 Riley RMA!
My mum has had some right shockers but used to...
D'oh!

Also Steve just a quick one and please don't feel obliged to, but what would you offer on my car as it currently stands? Just out of interest more than anything else :)
I'm selling mine at the moment. The exact spec you're after by the sounds of it. Racing Blue with stripes, FF model, £4500 ono. Here if you're interested: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=520755
I agree with your logic Fad, but can see why the stereotype of modded cars exist unfortunately. Mine will be on Autotrader next week if it doesn't shift on here - had 47 calls in a day about a Micra I sold on there so it seems to work lol!
Currently got a Janspeed Supersport + Sports Car on the car, now looking to sell and have been offered a standard exhaust in exchange. Question is would it fit with the Janspeed cat still on the car?
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
How about mine. Been up for sale a week or so with no interest.
54 plate RB182 Full Fat
78k miles
Janspeed exhaust and cat (trying to swap for standard)
Advert here: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1823399.htm
Currently at £4650
I'm in the same boat really, good car with the only mod being the exhaust and although I live in the city, it rarely gets used there. I'll give mine a few more days on PH then it'll be on Autotrader to shift it!
I've just managed to drop a bucket of water in the general direction of my 182 with the bonnet up - not recommended...
...anyway since I did this I've noticed some issues!
Drove a short distance and the car was labouring at anything over 2000rpm. I then parked it up and when I put the key...
Bumping an old thread here, but mine is doing a similar thing.
Is it likely to be this same issue when it gets wet or might it be the battery? I was washing it tonight and dropped a bucket of fooking water all over the shop. Fool!
Sell them to traders mainly I think. They just play middleman and pocket the difference.
Cheers for the comments on the advert, hope it sells the car asap :)
