Did my white track wheels with Gyeon Rim about 4 years ago and they still look like this practically, apart from the barrels which have pitted from hot brake dust.
Recently did my new anthracite 2118's with Gtechniq C5, two coats 12 hours between each.
Goes on better than the Gyeon I think...
Yeah it's one of them 'where do you start' when it comes to who makes what.
I'm guessing Gates make the full cambelt kit, but i can't be too sure. They definitely make the actual belt.
The dephaser is Aisin.
Aux belt is Hutchinson, not sure about the tensioner.
Most of the water/coolant...
I removed the plug and stuck a resistor on it.
Bung on the inlet.
Removed the pipework all the way back to where it joins the main pipe. If you look underneath just behind the front wheel arch where the subframe brace is, you'll see what i mean. I put the breather in there.
Sorry I can't help with the fans not working, it sounds more serious than the usual resistor pack (but still worth checking).
You will still feel some heat in the area, as hot engine coolant is still running through the heater matrix.
Just with @Willo40 saying he can't cast using his 6, made me question why you can't with newer Pixels.
You say you're using 3rd party casting apps? Never used to have to do that.
Only my initial thoughts, as it got louder as soon as you got close to the alternator.
If it does turn out to be that then a Valeo one is what you want.
How many wheels, just 4?
I don't think it would unbalance the weight too much.
Call it 20kg per wheel and tyre max, 80kg total.
Shouldn't cancel out the 150kg+ of the engine/box in the front.
