Sounds like a good plan :) Always better than looking quick and being slow!
You putting the 438's on standard timing or going to play around to try and make more power/torque?
Look forward to seeing it at Bedford
Great project Mike :) Look forward to seeing how it goes with the ITB's!
Yes Paul @ Rstuning said the same to me about mine 200-205 is the most from the injectors. More money to spend :(
From what I was told you need to have a second fuel pressure regulator after the high pressure pump although I don't think the burpspeed guys use this and theirs works perfectly!
1 litre should be fine I was only going to do 1.5 as it was the smallest they did with the AN- connectors.
Don't...
It's causing fuel surge obviously when you are cornering so the fuel is not at the pickup when it needs to be. I don't know why but I've only heard of it being an issue on the ph1. The fuel setup's are quite different with the regulator in the tank on the 182's.

It depends what you want from a track car IMO, personally if you want more power and don't want turbo etc then your only option is cams and or ITB's. If doing ITB's then you will have to run standalone ECU and in that case you may aswell fit 421's rather than the 438's.
Can you do mechanical...

Got to agree that Singer car is incredible :) I've always preferred modern cars but that was a piece of art! Autosport connectors for indicators just awesome!
Fronts are 180mm in length, 100nm/mm and 61mm diameter.
Rear are measured in imperial as it has a 1.9" internal diameter and basically they are 200mm in length and 500 Ibs whatever unit :)
2's are also inverted although I'd be lying if I said I knew what advantage that gives lol
The disadvantage is you have to crawl around on the floor to adjust the buggers!
:)
To be fair that's what I'm looking forward to in one respect, if my OCD has let anything slip through the net i'll be angry lol
Funny you say that Andy....
Sometime in March once I do the loom :)
Just randomly read a few pages from March of this thread! Crazy looking back! How everything has changed, Will be very interesting to see where the car, myself etc are in a year or so.
Got to agree mate, the running costs for this series are in my opinion very slightly higher than the Tintops as the 16" tyre is an expensive limiting factor plus longer weekends so more time off work and more accommodation costs. The main place that this championship will save money is the...
