No sane person would go for anything other than the Skoda tbh, you can buy 10 Skoda splitters (which I've never even seen break so why would you need to) for the cost of a fragile plastic/carbon fibre splitter.

Building the dash from a Raspberry Pi as the base, now that is cool. My only worry would be the fact that the Pi likes to chew up memory cards every now and again, so make sure you backup whatever you're gonna put on it, multiple times! :P

As above, if you're in a FWD car just put down the power, and turn into the spin, you can usually recover it.
