I have a Nilfisk C130 as a backup washer if ever I need it. But after going through 3 Karchers and 2 Nilfisks in 6 years I pulled the trigger (excuse the pun) on a Kranzle. My main washer is a Kranzle 1050TS. Of the budget friendly washers, I found the Nikkfisk to be better than the rest. Keep...

    Play in steering.

Check the following: Inner/outer track rod ends Steering rack bushes Tyres - huge change in steering feel based on sidewall stiffness Topmounts Bottom ball joint Anti roll bar bushes Lower arm bushes. All of the above affect steering feel and geometry. So unfortunately could be any of the...

Ah that’s a shame. Typical, I’ve a spare Nilfisk you could borrow too. let me know how you feel about the bushes. I’ve got brand new genuine OEM bushes sitting here, but now the focus of the car has changed I’m going to fit poly.

If you don’t like the badge options above I’d be tempted to get another gel decal you do like and fit it in place.

    Anyone going on long drives?

Whilst I’m absolutely itching to go for a drive, It’s not about you, it’s about others. If you have an accident, break down or anything else. You’re then calling on the assistance of others and potentially removing medical and emergency services that are far more required elsewhere right now...

Exceptional job as usual mate with the superb levels of detail we have all come to expect. So glad you like the BTM, they really are a nice bit of kit imo and you’ve done a beautiful job polishing that one up. Makes me wanna drop my 3rd hanger now to give it a paint haha. Stay safe dude, lookin...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Not at all, my Clio is my daily driver. The R is my toy, although I love driving both just the same. I don’t drive the R in the rain if I can help it, if it gets caught in the rain, so be it but just means a good while up in the air cleaning it all again. On the odd sunny day I’ll take the R...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Yeah I’ve always had Cup 2s on it. Truth be told, I would probably be okay with Supersports or PS4S, especially for anything but dry weather. However I love the way the car feels on Cups, so was reluctant to relinquish that performance.

You missed nothing mate. I had 4 new Pilot Cuo 2S fitted and they managed to scratch 3 of my 4 rims. So I had to get the lot refinished, and they’re a specific colour so are wet paint and not powdercoated. I’m bloody fussy so they painted them 4 times before I was happy with the finish. The...

Finally got my Cayman R wheels back, im ashamed to say I chickened out in the end and went for the OEM Gloss Porsche Silver Chrome. Wrapped in new Cup 2s they look so fresh. Treated her to fresh genuine crested centre caps and all parts have been coated in Gtechniq C5 topped with C2V3.

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

If you think that stuff is good maybe try Motul 300V competition. Best oil I’ve ever used or seen perform in any motor. My 35k mile 400 bhp impreza Motor wasas mint as the day it was built when I stripped it. Continued to use it in the 600bhp build too and the competition engines I built. I...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I like it as i don’t have time to dick about with loads of compounds these days and it’s got a good work time. I just change my pad/technique depending on levels of cut that I want. As you know, it’s no show car, so just enough to give it a good jolly up and make it look presentable. 🙂

Unimpressed by 182, what do you love about it?

The other issue you have here are the very nature of the “test drive”. The route plays a huge part and let’s be honest, youll struggle to know a car within a 15 minute test drive anyway. I had similar when my dad went to buy a Aston Martin Vantage Gen2. Personally I adore the looks of them...
