Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I’ve also found some scrub marks on the NSF where the arch has a domed section in it. The OSF doesn’t have this pressing. Anyone else encountered this before? Before I’m asked. Wheels - 15”x7” ET43 Tyres - 195/50/15 Toyo R888 15mm wheel spacers

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

So today’s little jobs. Service parts arrived from RPD so I cracked on with her oil/filter. First time she’s had Castrol rather than the ELF oil. Whilst under the car I saw quite a lot of dispersed oil which I traced as PAS fluid. Close inspection found a crack in the switch housing. So I’ve...

Theyre covered in ACF50, Dynax in some areas and wear these heavy duty covers so I think I’ve given them the best I can to stay in the best condition. Just want to be able to get out and try them properly.

Lemforder balljoints at ECP - £12 the pair (1*2)

Id say so yes. Generally Lemforder items are very good.

Get them on nice wheels and sitting properly and they’re one of the most aggressive looking little cars out there. Zero overhang, wheels at the corners, low and fat. Perfect. ❤️

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Cheers for the feedback all, basically confirms my own thoughts. Going to order some paint this evening and refresh my originals a nice shade of silver. As said, the colour match is shocking but worth a look just out of curiosity. I think it’s very difficult to modify the exterior of the...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

So a very kind gentleman on Pistonheads gifted me some colour coded door bullets. I trial fitted them today to see what I think. The colour match is miles away on my car but gives me an idea if I would like to move away from the OEM silver. My silver ones are original and have never been...

I usually finish with C2v3 or Carpro Reload. Not sure really where this fits in for me. Great product though.

Do it!! Amazing what a simple wheel swap can do to the cars appearance. The Turinis are beautiful but just lost in gloss black. Sounds daft but black wheels were notch at common when I did them. I put black wheels on my Escort GTi in 2002 when I was 18. I never saw another car with black wheels...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I think ultimately the best setup all round for looks and performance is 10mm front and rear. When the RCK hubs go on, I may drop to a 5mm spacer up front.

Me too mate. Can’t wait to get out. You wait, we will have sun thoughout this whole shut in. Soon as we are allowed out, it’ll piss down 😂 It’s worn gloss black Turinis since 2012. I think she’s due a change. Depending on height, spacers and offset, I found my Turinis scrubbing on full lock...

Today’s job, Fit PMS rear spacers and wheel stud/nut kit. Also decided now the suns coming out to get my summer wheels on. Yes they’re doing “driveway durability testing” at the mo. But they have confirmed 100% that I’m done with black wheels. My Turinis will get a colour change at some point...

Queston for those who've fitted PMS brace and top mountsmounts

Fitted mine last week. What seems to be the problem, I found it completely straight forward.

Unimpressed by 182, what do you love about it?

Agreed. Sorry I assumed that was obvious. I just wondered pre lock in.

Interesting you boys saying this. When I removed the cup dampers, the OS top but was loose.

Quickie - PMS topmount nut torque?

Thanks Zach. I did just do them as tight as I thought with loctite 243. Paint marked them and see how I go.

In what way? It’s a foam filter in a carbon box. Lol. is it worth £400? I guess ITG have to charge for their development time I guess. No ideas what it does for performance other than a bit of engine bay eye candy. Sound is okay but not as loud as a Ktec. fitment is questionable at best. You...

Only just gone on though lol and not set up yet. Feels properly plush on the road though and makes Cup dampers feel crashy.
