Reading through the forums, 40mm is the recommended max on standard shocks. The other argument is that coilovers are made for those drops, whereas standard shocks aren't. The ride will no doubt be a bit harder, but they should last longer than standard shocks/ lowering springs combo.

Ok. I'm replacing my stock suspension with coilovers and thinking of AP's. Have read a lot about camber issues on here though. How did you get round yours?

Is it the coilovers you have on now that are leaking? If so, how old are they? AP offer a 2 year warranty as far as I'm aware.

So stupid question time. I have a Mk3 with 20mm spacers (FK B Centric from Venom), and will probably end up taking wheels on and off from time to time. What sort of thing would I need to convert to studs and nuts?
