I'd also suffered with the knocking boot for too long. I'd moved the striker plate in the boot forward a good few mm, and it still remained. Then I remember reading a little trick about putting a small layer of electrical tape around the striker itself. Did that this morning, and no more...

I picked up a rear boot brace for the clio last week and set about fitting it today. I've left the side boot carpet out as I quite like it exposed.

Still using the standard one myself, but I found a iPod cradle made for the Mk3 by Denison, which was commissioned by Renault.

Don't get any scraping with mine over speed bumps, but I'm running 17's. Car looks good Moff. Interior is nice an clean too. Like the colour coding with the main bodywork colour.
