Good progress. I had issues getting the Renault locking tool in the cat cams too. The slot for the tool wasn’t wide enough and I had to file back the Renault tool and was still really tight to get in and out the cams.

Alternator revisited and sorted finially ?

Put the coolant hose on the stop any bits getting in them. Should have a new belt to fit tonight and started sliding the manifold together. Need to look at catch tank and oil cooler setups and still swap over the throttle linkage.

Will be a a tad probably near the 847 figure quoted above. Think the water pump would be running backwards the way I had it if my mind is work correctly ?

I’ve run the belt wrong ??‍♂️ I’ve gone under the water pump assuming that picture is correct ?

Cleaned the hoses this morning

Yeah is just the water pump and alternator using a cup racer style bracket. Didn’t look like it was hitting the water pump last night but it was late and now you’ve worried me ? I’ll check tonight and confirm.

Found a belt to fit the alternator

It’s the jamsport kit. Was somewhere around 1695 or 1795 iirc. The AP rotors are expensive but can get cheaper version if you the know the size and PCD of the bell bolts. Not sure if jamsport do the AP rotors any more as I looked at buying a spare set a few months ago.

I have wilwood and 295 AP bells and rotors under 15s

Few little bits done. Clutch cable fitted. New rad cap. Alternator, 12v feed in and mount fitted just needs a belt and tensioning now. Luckily I have a few to choose from ? Next on the list is finding somewhere to fit my oil cooler ??‍♂️ Seems to be an issue everywhere I look...

Few pictures from dropping the engine in today. Started bolting some bits on to make it look like an engine bay too. I need to swap the PMS linkage for the Jenvey linkage, anyone got any ideas how this is done and if it’s easy enough? I haven’t even looked yet but I’m sure I read on...

Thanks bud! Not to sure on wiring yet. Probably just tidy OE loom as running Gen90. Yeah they are heavy and made of thick steel. Well worth it, vibrate a lot!
