Decent video. I find myself getting judgmental about the geekiness, then remember that's probably how we all come across to normal folks. Waze is much better than Google maps. Not as good as tomtom for traffic and routing, but not bad for a free option. The voice control on Android auto is superb.

Yes. Drive an fn2 civic with the lsd. Bugger all torque, not a great deal of power, and it's a huge difference to drive.

R26. 1*2's feel pretty old these days (albeit fun!). 200's are decent, but an R26 is better in every respect. But I'd drive a few, you might prefer a 200!

Nice car. For me, the gti would be the perfect daily. I'd put up with higher fuel costs for the sharper engine/chassis.
