I think the mk1 is a better looking car, but I'd assume the mk2 ph1 is safer and in 3yrs, I barely had an issue with mine, which is probably more important in a first car. I didn't have my mk1 long enough to experience any probs. Got both when I was 18 btw.
Also, you may appreciate the extra...
My centre section baffles went, sounded good when you hammer it but when you lift off or driving normally its sounded awful. It will be covered by their lifetime warranty if you bought it from them, if you got it second hand then will need to buy a new centre as the warranty is non-transferrable.
Had it replaced on both ours, mk2 ph2 172 and mk2 ph1 1.4. No questions asked, but had had a couple letters come through from our local dealer, because used them for parts before.
Was only expecting an inspection but the changed them there and then.
Just book it in at a dealer for a bonnet...
Has been asked before...with similar responses
Might be able to sort it with the wires under your seat, search for it, has been answered on how to do it for a mk2.
Thanks for organising Jon, was a good day and nice to meet some more people. And ta for the doughnuts Matt.
Happy with mine as standard, will hopefully be back next year with power mods!
Oh s**t mate! Surely if the other party has admitted liability then they are guaranteed the monies so don't have to charge you 3k. Hope it gets sorted ASAP mate! I don't know what else you can do.
I bought 2 of these exact ones for my D60 and they're excellent!
I'm not sure how much faster your D90 will need for continuous but I just keep shooting away and it's always ready.
Have used them to transfer data and again have been really quick copy and read rate. I used them over my USB...
Some leisurely place they've got, wonder if they're being paid by the hour?!
Sorry for the dodgy edit, I didn't think it made much sense and Tom's did. A non-fault accident can increase insurance, normally if its a 2nd or 3rd accident (fault and non-fault counted) on your history. As long...
Re: AAAAhhhhhhhh f**k!
I ended up pushing the gromit out and securing the cable to the gromit and the hole because I couldn't get the cable through the gromit either.
Don't like the look of it that low! And would get major scrubbage if you want to have a bit of fun - which the 1*2s are all about.
I think DrRollo's last pic looks spot on. I think mine is too high but I can't get any lower without scrubbing because of my wheels offset:
On standard wheels...
Re: Apple Event 27th Jan
Well with the issues with 3.1, I wanted to make sure 3.1.2 was all good. And wasn't sure on how to back up everything completely, now I have, I'm ready to go.
Is 3.1.2 a big jump? Or just better to stick out for JB 4.0 now?
Re: Apple Event 27th Jan
Is OS 4.0 likely to be realised in 2/3 months if they're announcing it now?
I was just about to update my JB from 3.0 to 3.1.2 so wondering if I should bother or wait for JB 4.0?
Easy enough to do, I ran the earth to the rear seatbelt bolt, RCA and remote cable down the driver's side, the plastic trim by the carpet unclips and you can push the cables up and clip back. Did similar on the passenger side with the power cable, depending on your thickness depends on how easy...
My legit CoPilot works and my Tom Tom works fine on my JB'd 3GS with no cradle. Right now, its picking me up inside, but putting me on a parallel road.
I had that sub but with a JBL amp GTO75.2.
I was very happy with it. Good powerful bass and the gain was only turned about half way.
I've never compared subs so I wouldn't know the difference in bass, but I think JBL are always seen as good value components. I haven't really looked into it...
I've got the Sigma 70-300mm APO DG macro lens too, for my D60, and am very happy with it.
It was great at F1 Silverstone this year and Festival of Speed. I'm sure I paid nearer £180 last May!
