Off topic, but spacer related, what did you run on your ph1? Are you just running 5mm on the back of the RB? What are you running on the front of the RB? Thank you in advance

Loved that car, wish I hadn't sold it although think that about most of the cars I have owned, they are going up in value too just like the Clio V6 I shouldn't have sold

Had some good fun in that, no matter how hard you drove it always returned 50mpg+ wasn't that quick but felt quicker with it being so small and low, not very water resistant, other than that it was great

Those petrol pumps you have uploaded look good, lighting is key, early morning or early evening does tend to be best

    Ph1 Rear Lights

Bit of background, bought my Ph1 with Ph2 lights at the rear have purchased some Ph1 lights but when I tried them on the car the lights worked but different things lit up than should have done, I need to check the bulbs properly but do you need to tweak the wiring to get Ph2 lights to fit on a...

    Dan's Ph1 172 Daily Driver

Yes nearly there, for now I think, want to do the accelerator cable and throttle body off fully to clean properly next week. Also have handbrake cables to go on possibly next week depending on how the accelerator cable goes  plus other bit's that need buying, have only washed it once will...

    Ph1 Issue

That's great thank you, tried to get a gasket for this weekend but left it too late to get one from Renault, I did as best I could with it on the car but it definitely needs to come off, seems sensible to take it off with the accelerator cable.

    Ph1 Issue

No, cleaned it but only on the car as didn't have a new gasket incase I ruined the one that was on, do you centralise the butterly by giving it a small dink with a hammer (technical term!) under the throttle position sensor? Going to change accelerator cable next weekend so was hoping to get a...

    Ph1 Issue

Cleaned and reinstalled the throttle body, idle control valve, TPS, airbox and exhaust with custom made mount and it seems to have helped with most of my issues, have water escaping from just after the cat (dripping) should this join in the exhaust have a gasket? Going to have to take it apart...

    Powerflex Rear Exhaust Hanger

Made a custom mount using a new mount with added Sikaflex (just like Tiger Seal) no pictures unfortunately but filled in all the gaps on the normal mount and tried to force the hole for the exhaust to go through as high up as possible. Seems to have worked so far, let's see how long it lasts...

    Dan's Ph1 172 Daily Driver

It will have to wait till next weekend  took me so long cleaning and reinstalling the throttle body, idle control valve, TPS, airbox and exhaust with custom made mount that I ran out of time/light the good thing being it seems to have helped with most of my issues, although inevitably has...

    Dan's Ph1 172 Daily Driver

Think I am giving this a go tomorrow, how long did it take you in total? I currently have no exhaust and most of the air intake missing so that will all have to go back on first
