They are the same seats from the Clio 197/200 aren't they? So yeah they should fit.

The solder butt connectors will be fine as long as you got them hot enough to melt the solder inside and also the adhesive lined heatshrink.

    engine building

182 block 197 head, rods, pistons, injectors, cams Maybe a skim on the head and block to the maximum tolerance. Can't really do much exhaust work if you still need a cat for MOT purposes. All that should get you in the 200+ range though.

ABS light on and Solid immobiliser light on

A draining battery wouldn't cause it IMO. Be interesting to find out what's gone on.

ABS light on and Solid immobiliser light on

I would imagine the fuse would protect the ECU. Can't see how it's fried it tbh.

I've been out in my mates Clio on the RS's and it doesn't feel that bad tbh. Cup 2's would piss all over either version haha.

If people on the internet who were complaining about lap times, then they shouldn't be using those tyres in the first place. They're literally just a road tyre. (Not having a go at you by the way mate).

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

He still is lol Saw him at Caffeine and Machine last year, there was a queue for drinks inside that marquee thing and he walked straight to the front asking when he can have a pint 😂 It was 10am!

    197 Brembo caliper rebuild

Tell them they're aluminium calipers and see what they say. I'd be wary of acid dipping.

It's crazy really, brand new cars having to be kept on charge because of design issues 😏

    197 Brembo caliper rebuild

Fine mate, probably better than standard because the OEM ones are plated metal, these are anodised aluminium. I've built a set with these and also ones for a mate. They slightly shorter in height than OEM but it's negligible. Really easy to rebuild those Brembos.

These are the pistons you need mate...

    Help pls

3 13mm bolts on the gaitor to get it off the box. ABS sensor is just tight, wiggle and pull and it'll come apart eventually.

What have you done to your car today ???

Track wheels cleaned ready for Wednesday at Donington. Doubt I'll get to use them though looking at the weather forecast.

Alternator - +ve lead nut type?

Flanged nut usually, possibly serrated to help it stay tight.

    JC5-130 rebuild.

They do a decent enough job, but £350 would only just about cover 3rd and 4th gears, synchros, hubs. Take 'everything' with a pinch of salt.
