I know I said it earlier about the washers but when I fitted my B14's to my Trophy with PMS top mounts I had only one spacer fitted and they were great with not a single knock?
Hence my question about all the spacers being required?
Totally agree Steve, main reason I put them originally is the split rear seat, so much easier to get more stuff - drop the seat and still have the child seat the other side.
Can't say the weight saving would be much either.
Also thought I would do it know whilst I could still get hold of another...
Whilst installing the rear seat I had to change one the seat belt trims due to it being broken:

I presume you are talking clio172/182 here?
If so pull from the back of the seat forward and upwards mate - gripper channel hinge things are in the foot well wall and they just slot out.

I think it's OCD to be honest with you pal. I hate to see things that just aren't right. Also I like the challenge and it's so satisfying doing it your self, learning along the way and the end result looking better.

Full carpet replacement.
Old carpet had a bad wear underneath the drivers may and a wear mark behind the drivers seat where a previous owner had removed the seat spacers and cut the carpet when sliding the seat back and forth.

Replacement drivers seat upper skin
Drivers upper seat always bugged me due to slight wear and dodgy stitching on the emblem. Remembered I had a spare replacement upper skin so -

All the clios I have lowered/changed rear springs I have used the originals and no issues.
Unless you are going for a fresh mint look of course then it's a no brainier to buy new.
