will do, is yours very noisy when just driving along normally? just been on k-tec site, they get very good reviews, by yourself as well i think lol
will check out the price
sounds good to me that
i will bear that in mind, dont want my ears to bleed
i'll stay clear or the mrs might not want to drive it...................................... oh hang on! ;)
i'd say mines lower than that tbh, (then again looking at the pics, maybe not so much ) stephen at grinspeed advised me not to go any lower, best pic i have at hand although the front has been lowered since for rake, excuse the winter steelies!
are they reasonably quiet? what about when putting your foot down?
wow! dont want to be spending that kind of money, ( unless second hand ) was thinking around the £300 mark if thats possible? think a yozza is out of the question. will look into the other 2 mind
sounds like my exhaust is on the way out, not something i've ever had to replace before, so never looked into them, got a standard one on at the minute, but would like an aftermarket one, not to loud for everyday driving, but dont mind a bit of noise when on full pelt :o
so what are my...
fair enough mate, i'm more than happy with how it is at the minute, suppose a trackday will be the real test, ( not winter tyres  )
its definitely the connectors under the seat, as a bit of a fiddle under there seems to sort it out, but it comes back on after the seat gets moved...
ah Glad you came along lol, yeah, its a great car, love it! touch wood, no serious problems as yet, no minor ones either to be fair, a few niggly things such as rear demister is pretty much always on, and the old airbag and servive light comes on the dash now and again, ( will get them sorted...
yeah, nice bloke, will be returning there in the future for more work, cheers for bringing him to my attention.
a bit bloody complicated this toe business lol, so new top mounts will mean a full geo set up again, better account for that on my next purchase then, is corner weighting expensive...
thanks for the reply,i dont really understand the " minutes toe " with comparison to my toe settings? i see you have toe out on both the front and rear, where as i have toe out at the front and toe in at the rear, is this just a personal thing, or is it the norm?
i guess i need to get it on...
I took the car to Grinspeed to get the geo set up, the car is running bilstein b14's and whiteline arb, so on arrival i explained the car had been set up a couple of year ago by deamon tweaks, to which his response was " lol f.ucking hell " anyway i left it with him to do his stuff, got a phone...
recently i saw a thread about 2118's, and someone mentioned they where cheap on ebay, i cant seem to find the thread, and the cheapest on ebay i can find is £649, any advances on this? i am seriously considering some for next year, so whats the best price on them?
cheers
lots and most end up back in a clio, i sold my mk1 valver, got 420bhp sapphire cossie, it went bang, got a williams, sold that for a lovely mr2 turbo, not practical for a 2 kid family, ended up in a 172 cup and love it, more power would be nice mind, turbo or s/c yours.......
got my steelies in the garage ready to go on with snowproxes, worked a treat last year, i also travel on b roads to work, 2 years ago the clio would not move from outside my house on summer tyres, last year i went anywhere i wanted!
