Yeah its 97, same as BP ultimate and Esso Supreme. Never seen 98, its either 95, 97 or 99.

Either date suits me.

98p a litre ? Momentum is £1.13 at the min where i live, same goes for BP Ultimate...... regular 95 is about £1.05 although i never fill the car up with that stuff.

Are you sure the colour wasn't previously Silver and the owner has not bothered to paint the roof ? i wasn't aware you could have a 197 in Yellow unless it was the R27 variant.

KTEC or Rentech would be the most logical or if you don't mind travelling up North a little, how about BTM ?

Timewarp; looks a stunner. Amazed at what they're fetching considering a Clio Williams in similar condition would be lucky to fetch half that. There's a chap on the Clio V6 forum with a Pearl White GT Turbo and its stunning.

Beautiful Ph1, that engine bay is a dream. I am guessing the oil cap is the same size for a 197 ? If so could you let me know the part number as mine is discoloured and looks tatty. Cheers.

197 Cup My first Clio, wanted a RenaultSport Clio since the launch of the 172. Not sure how long I will keep the 197 but I won't be parting with it any time soon. I know I will end up either owning another RenaultSport Clio in the future to keep as a future classic. 182, Trophy, 172 Cup or 197...

I could't use it all the time. Low mileage 182's are hard to find now, be interesting to see how many good ones will be left in another 10 years. Deffo future classic.

Stunning car and the best colour IMO. I'd probably look at adding the CSL "rep" wheels, ok they're not the genuine CSL items but they look the t!ts.

I have only ever used it in the summer months so not sure how durable it would be during the rainy seasons. It's not as durable as the Dodo Juice Light Fantastic which will last around 3 months.

Lol, another ebay classic advert. I had an 04 1.4 Punto before the 197 and mechanically it was sound.

Some classics in the Saxo advert.... this is my personal fave "High left cams with followers £1000" high left ? tempted to message him and ask him about the high right cams.

I'd be up for one, see how little power mine has in comparison to the claimed figure :P
