P.s. I want your steering wheel ;)
Cheers dude, they dont call me bullet for nothing lol, really happy with the results, shame i couldnt route it smoothly to a grill though, dam aircon unit! sure i'll love it in the summer though

Got home from work today & decided to have another play with the cold air feeds, Been playing on my mind all week...
So first thing was the bend under the air box, was worried about it rubbing through as its all fairly tight in there so picked up a 70mm PVC bend from work &...
Its a nice start mate, samco bend does fook all though, if any thing makes it worse, got one myself & the 90 degree angle is sharper on the sparco than the standard
Another good gain is de-cat, probarbly one of the best in my opinion! it is advised to couple it with a re-map as they tend to...
New one on me, none of us in the staines lot have stripes, where are you based mate? we run Staines meet last thursday of every month if your in the area, last one - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=395553 should have the next one up soon!

May have a play with some diffrent routes still but think unless its set-up like markcup's the bends will out do the benefit of forced induction, Dam aircon pump taking all the space :(
Yea should be fine, The standard 182 uses the same dampers as the 172 Ph1 & Ph2, belive even the 182 cup uses the same its just the hubs that are diffrent

Check the project threads mate, you'll find dead weight under the upper engine mount - 4/5kgs, read through burp's project thread for more detail, can loose alot od weight with fixed buckets
James
Have now cut the one on the side down to roughly 6", keeps the induction noise down, remove it completely & it burbles to much in the low RPM, cars loud enough with the other toys lol
The airfeed that runs undereath still gets air from the same place as before, seems more than cold enough...
Waste of dosh as every ones said, if they gave an extra 15bhp for £5-15 dont you think every one on would be running them instead of spending £200-350 on a re-map :clown:
Like said, stip it out! power - weight ratio is where its at for the £££

Another busy afternoon @ the JMS-Tuning workshop yesterday, began work on finishing the up-rated cold air feeds ( CAF'S )
So the idea started from seeing markcups at surrey rolling road a few months ago but i couldnt justify buying another airbox ( espace V6 ) & another...
Apex's for a great look that still lets the car work daily ie speed bumps full lock etc, provides a nice solid ride through the bends, really liked the way it made mine feel.... except! for the comfort, you will cringe @ drain covers lol.. Sportlines for comfort/look as burp says ;)
Got 90% of the way through finishing the engine bay when i ran out of things to try on the engine bay sound deadning fabrics, Heres a pic of my engine bay as it stands, as you can see where the aircon lines come back through from the scuttle pannel the fabric has faded to a yellow like colour...
Very tempted to have ago in the 172 down the pod.. Just dont think it will do the "known" weakest parts of the clio any good, Imagine a day full of 1st gear hard launches on good traction ie - no give! good old 172 gearboxs :dead:
So Coops one comes complete with the spacing parts then? If not & you manage to get one finnished/installed keep us updated please mate, will suscribe to the thread ;)

Engine bay is finished, there are a few bits that could still be done but for some thing that gets open once in a blue moon i think this is far as it goes for tarting wise, still working on a batterey cover though! Samco induction bend all on too
Carbon Fusebox...
