For future ref, the chap above G 172 is spot on for braking bits and bobs if you need anything else.
Never used the KTec ones so can't comment I'm affraid, maybe someone else has...
No problem mate :) glad we can help
With regards to the standard Brembo HC discs on the 200 they will be fine for the most part.
http://www.ctbrakes.com/faqs.asp#bedding4 Not bad advice here.
Hel lines would be my choice.
We all learn the hard way mate, the standard pads are too soft for the constant hammering they get on track. Especially when you're learning a circuit, a lot of people tend to over use the brakes & cook them.
Right the vibration will be judder, which means you've either warped your discs from possibly not bedding them in properely or there is friction material transfer on the disc.
Knowing cadwell very well I'd say you were over using the brakes!? Is it your first visit?
The OE pads aren't up to...
I love my 200, yes I am getting rid of it this year, but that is because I don't use it & when I do it's only to get to work, which is a waste IMO.
The suspension I will say is doing my head in with the state of the roads, surprised I haven't got shell shock tbh.
Engines in fairness are cheap enough to replace if you can do the work yourself.
If it was me & I knew I looked after it I'd leave it. But that's just me.
Speak to Adam @ Renault Wolvs who's a trader on here. ECP do use different suppliers but their research is terrible. Pretty bad reputation in the trade, but very cheap which is why people use them.
I think if we are fair we'd say they are both different cars, but the Megane is faster, better looking, has a proper gearbox, is more comfortable, more practical, this is all IMO ofcourse but I imagine most would agree.
