They fetch the same amount as Cup Turinis. The trophy ones are less desirable as they dont sit as far out as Cup ones - Trophy has an ET45 and Cup ET37
Can you test it all before pushing the stereo back into the car. You might find its the headphone patch lead that isnt seated properly, has happened to me.
plastic pry bars, not really needed, infact you can get the strips off with just your fingers. They are cheap off ebay and the likes though and will come in handy over time.
Love this car. Very little on it that needs attention, an afternoon will have it in near perfect condition. It drives fantastically, alignment is spot on, brakes are strong, engine timing is spot on, pulls exactly as a 182 should and delivers high mpg when doing 70mph - averaged 45 over 3 hours...
People that do their own coolant changes will know that it can be a pain to get the lower radiator hose clip back on. Im tired of spending 10 minutes with bottle nose pliers and them slipping off the clip.
I want to buy a nice tool that will make this job nice and easy.
Can anyone recommend...
Took my top manifold off yesterday and noticed that the rocker cover has a little oil on the top near the oil filler. I always use funnels and don't spill any oil. The oil must be leaking where a bolt isn't sealing properly.
I'm thinking it is the one above the spark plug hole.
Rest of the...
For anyone doing the install themselves, this is a useful video. I struggled with the lower inlet removal - one bolt on the left under the engine mount, needed to jack engine up.
Ive rolled my car into my garage and will be fitting the SM Inlet this evening. The plan is to fit it and then work out exactly what intake pipe it will need as I suspect it wont be a straight one.
I have a company lined up to custom make the silicone intake tube I will also be having a custom...
My assumption is that it will be hard to see as they are thick and encased in a sleeve. Try and see if the tyre wear on the back wheels is even too.
@DaveDreads - whats the name of that kit as I want to get one. @JP83 and me kind of made a similar tool when we did his rear beam bushes but would...
I have both Bilstein B14's on one 182 and Cup shocks and Prolines on my daily 182. I would say that the Bilsteins are harder but they have far better compliance for the crap road surfaces we have. Going fast round bends the bilsteins are fantastic. I would have bilsteins on both cars but because...
3 bolt. before getting a new one, unbolt it - then remove the one torx screw and rotate the cogs a few times, this usually fixes it. Also test it by removing the cogs, plug the motor unit in to the plug and press the keyfob, you should see the motor spin quickly.
Before you fit it get a new olive joint clamp. check out renaultpartdirect.co.uk ,they are about £8 . The old one looks ruined.
EDIT Also a manifold to cat kit too.
If it was me I would be buying a set of rear disks which already have the bearings pressed in. You are looking at £99 for genuine renault disks with the bearings pressed in. That way you have nice new disks at the same time too.
Ge the rear brakes guide in the guide section and do it all...
