This is a picture to show it is all connected up but the headunit wont turn on.
This is the only connects 2 lead that will fit my car so it must be right im thinking.
Has anyone had this problem. Its driving me mad.
My car is a mess and am not driving it as I am determined to get this...
Hey Dan,
That engine looks spectacular. how did you paint the alternator or is it new. Are they easy to open up and put back together again.
Amazing workmanship !
In all honesty I doubt anyone on here has used all 3 and is able to offer any true comparison. People will go to a particular tuner - they will be extremely happy because their car is quicker and then by default say that that tuner is best.
I have a 59 plate clio 200. I wanted to put my Alpine CDE178BT stereo back in and utilise stalk control for volume and skipping tracks etc.
I bought CTSRN007.2 as well as the Alpine patch lead. I went out today in the freezing drizzle to take out the old Kenwood headunit out and put the Alpine...
I doubt you would get an airgun in there, there is no space. I know you got one nut off but are you sure the socket is actually gripping the other nut. There is not a lot of room in there and I find stubby and thick sockets wont actually go all the way down the hole and on to the nut.

Absolutely stunning car, the paintwork looks incredible now and is a real credit to you.
Have you used Gtecniq C4 on the black trim? I love this product - looks like new and lasts for over a year.
I would get to renault and buy one brand new:
£160 for the bumper - doesnt include top grill. but does include lower grill and fog blacks plus all the honeycombe plastic inside the bumper.
Then have that resprayed and the car will look a million times better.
That is one cracking roadtrip Marc! I love doing trips like this especially when there is a big prize like the liquid yellow at the destination. Car looks incredible and you are well lucky.
My roadtrip with car collection next week:smile: ! cannot wait. See you next weekend Marc.
They are made incredibly well. This one was bought second hand - looked manky and sorry for itself but a few hours with a drill and cloth buffing wheel and a bit of metal polish and it looks good as new.
Saw this poll the other day http://www.clio197.net/threads/has-your-gearbox-been-replaced-yes-or-no.15851/
Im sure it does come down to how sympathetic the driver is to the gearbox.
