Did you wipe it up and check fuel wasnt pissing out still.

wiggle up and down whilst pushing with both hands , try starting from one side and working your way across.

Then fit the 2 bolts holding the fuel rail. this will sometimes help the injectors push in a little more if they arent in enough. I wouldnt worry too much though, if the o rings are in the inlet then all will be well.

Dont worry about the up down movement, look at each injector to see if the o ring is pushed in to the inlet the same amount on each one. it is really hard to get them all in without lubrication. Wd40 or a little engine oil around the o ring will go a long way to helping.

If you do sell the M5 can you put it up for sale here too, Id love to have that instead of our shitty Audi diesel.
