I would make sure you read that thread so you know what tools and stuff is needed -...
Neither are very appealing to be honest. They are priced highly for the spec, year and mileage.
Have you looked on Pistonheads too. Also join up on clio197.net too as there is always good cars listed there.
Someone on here was doing a group buy on Gumtree that was a lot cheaper.
Im pretty sure you may have issues though as the Clio197/200 recaros were modified by renault to fit. The ones from Demon tweeks will fit into a 182 without issues with Jon Foz frames but Im not so sure about the 200.
The only thing you need to disconnect is the seatbelt pretensioner. follow the cable from the seatbelt clip near the hand brake. there is a grey connector and you slide the yellow bit away from the grey connector.
Just bumping this thread as its really useful for others that havent seen it. You guys helped me loads diagnosing the VVT seal and its such a cheap and easy fix to make your engine look good again.

Looks like you are very deep into this clio now and making good progress. Its a shame you dont have the same amount of spares in Romania as we do in the UK.
Keep up the good work .
Its the SWE1200 that fits perfectly. I have 2 of the Alpine SWE1200's and they are pretty good. Heres a link to my install. http://www.cliosport.net/threads/perfect-underseat-sub-stereo-and-speaker-install.758455/
Whats even better is having one of these in your boot or attached to the back of...
@Matti5000
Heres what you do.
Use molegrips/vicegrips to hold the bolt heads - they are under the rear bench. now undo the nuts underneath. Its easier if someone holds the vicegrips in the car while you undo the nuts. plenty of wd40 or plusgas etc.
You can now use a screw driver to pry between...
Looks lush ! By the way , you can always use the "upload an image" button next to the post reply button. No need to upload an album like you did as it will need to be approved by a mod or admin before you can use the album.
