Have heard that 1st & 2nd gear give a higher rev limiter than the above... cant remeber where it came in now though... Re-map, 7,800rpm now days
Erm.... did you put the long bolts in the back & the short ones in the front lol, on a serious note if you have done it wrong it will force the lower inlet away from the upper
Was gonna do this to mine Ivan.. but then like the guys are saying, every one seems to be doing it... french font with out the country symbol would of done me, similar to the golf above, looks smart/simple
Thanks mate :) , would be more than happy to take you out in it for a spin, least i could do after you took me on my first ever Vee ride  , according to my sources, my 172 ( 184.5 ) power to weight ratio is better than a v6, so would be good to see what there like side by side, of course...
Theres a good chance i'll be putting together a few Futara bucket seats + adjustable custom sub frames & fitting in the near future...
Fitted to my 172
Will be in the region of £700 for 2 seats & custom sub frames & fitting, which is veeeery cheap compared to others on the market :cool...
Thanks mate :) , It hasnt all been plain sailing, all the work has been carried out by my self & i'm very happy to be able to say that but it has been trial & error from previous cars/motorbikes.. years of practice has got me fairly handy with most parts working on cars.. i say years of practice...
Love:
The power, go-kart feel ( coillys ), noise ( powerflow + de-cat ) the look when you destory big £££ cars of the lights oh & 48+MPG
Hate:
The CLUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tried every thing to get it lighter/smoother, still no joy :dapprove: ... got used to it now but still no...
Few of mine & tonyt bits, drop Tonyt a Pm for prices mate ;)
Theres a few more bits... but you get the idea...
All bits are straight fit, as the carbon is covered over the standard part = perfect fit & no playing around with glue etc

Every one knows that its not going to work... you need to put the fans on the rear bumper, works like a hover craft then you see, before you know it you'll be right up there with 400+bhp motors, better yet get 2 or 3 fans & your talking 0-60 in the 1-2 seconds...
Jack, Custom files are what hank ( fastchip owner ) designs to suit your current mods... we either use the 98ron cal or Group N rst though, both seem very similiar in power & a much improved car after the install
greenalex90, Started on 1000 grit then ended up on around 2000 grit, some...
MoRpH3uS, the cold air duct form the meggy looks good mate, handy for getting to the lower grill.. but! wait to see what i have in mind, will hopefully have it put together within the next few weeks ;)
