184.5 Thank you very much :rasp:
Yep very happy indeed mate, alot were running really low figures so thought great maybe i wont even make 170bhp... There was 2 172's that both made around the 160 figure & a trophy & 182 that made 170 :eek:
* Itg pannel filter
* Mathced Inlets, from Angel works
* Acoustic valve removed
* Group N re-map
* Gray's 2.5" bore de-cat
* Powerflow 2.5" bore full stainless sytem
Alot were running 10+ bhp less than me with similar mods, so it seems i have a good one :cool:
*** UPDATE ***
So the Clio hit surrey rolling road today, Note, this rolling road is reagarded as one of the best in the area! weather was shite but was a great day! The Clio ran spot on & every one there was nice enough so made for a good day out
;)
So my first worry was that i may not be...
Looks smart, but like franx said, nightmare for performance.. you may "feel" as if the cars running better due to the induction noise..
But if you've gone mad for carbon fibre ( like myself lol ) drop me a Pm, gotta a few bits that will soon be up for grabs.. few pics of the proto's...
Still no joy pep? thought you would be back in one now, must be killing you driving round in the smart lol
Why you so set on delaer? you'll save £1k ATLEAST private :cool:
Best of luck finding one mate :)
James
If your struggling with fuel prices, just drive it to work under 3,500 rpm, you will notice your fuel bill drop right down if you usally rev away often.. i do around 120 miles a week to work & back & can do that on £20, & thats paying for Shell V-power too at £1.20 a litre :dapprove: , i think...
haha he say's approaching the armco.... oh
BAAAAAAAAAAAAANG..... James breaks the track record :rasp:
Yea baby lol... John, will give you a ring later about tomorrow :cool:
P.s who says i'm gonna drive quick around the ring anyway :race:
Havent planned to, considering though! got so much on at the moment i may not even get the Clio to a run what ya brung track day till next year.. or i may even wait till the mighty german Ring next year as my first track outting :D .. may not be the most sensible idea lol
Good luck mate, be...
Nice shots :cool: , bet that mini is great fun lol! luvin the Black on black on yours, the splitter & wheel colour turn it into a very tasty little ph1 ;)
James
Hows your throttle peddle feel, not sticky? check the butterfly in the throttle bodie & see if its near enough closed, may have some thing holding it open, this would make it hard to start & when it does it would let it rev up quickly, when you take the plugs out of the 1.4 do you need to remove...
Cant wait to get it on & get some good shots, Carbon goodies so far
* Splitter
* Fog light surrounds
* Bumper Diamond
* Interior dash strips
* Interior steering wheel insert
* Carbon "Tow" sticker
Think maybe i have a carbon fibre issue lol
You know i'm the brain child behind it john :rasp:
We need to sort that bonnet of yours out before you go any further, the blue cup is gonna look ace on coillys :cool:
Knows it :cool: ..... :rasp:
Tonyt ( off here ) does custom Carbon fibre parts, ace work, as you can see ;)
No pics of the Cold air feed, not really alot done to it, removed the acoustic valve & straigntened out the standard air feed that was currently bent 90 degrees :dapprove: ...
*** UPDATE ***
Only a small one, but got this from Tonyt this morning, The no. man when it comes to custom carbon fibre :cool: , belive this is a first :approve:
Will get pics of it on the car asap ;)
James
There was a big thread over on the 182 trophy forum mate, renault confimed it was there purely to shut up induction roar lol, so took mine right out, cant say i noticed any diffrence, suppouse its saved some weight lol
Since carrying out the following on my 172, engine wise -
* Itg pannel filter
* Mathced Inlets, from Angel works
* Acoustic valve removed
* Improved cold air-feeds
* Group N re-map
* Gray's 2.5" bore de-cat
* Powerflow 2.5" bore full stainless sytem
The 5k kick has become much stronger...
Providing this wish list is just for Clio toys.....
300bhp turbo conversion FTW :evil:, now that would be a true "Clio sport"
Prob around £8-10k :dapprove:
