You could do that yes, would just mean you have a seperate key for the ignition. Somewhere might be able to strip the new unit down and match the key though...
The problem with the F4R compared to the other 2.0l stuff is the fact that you are starting with sub 83mm bores compared to 86 on the others, these are IMO stroked 1.8l engines
At the end of the day life can be a mugs game but it depends what you make of it, same with tuning a car IMO.
Ok YOU dont feel it's for you but some do, look at the track scene and semi pro motorsport scene, pretty sure they dont say it's pointless.
We fitted and mapped it
It was making on par with the other ITB cars +- a couple of hp due to keeping the slam panel but nothing major.
The car is so so smooth so i personally can understand Sam's review and think it's a very balanced opinion on ITB's
On the low boost turbo the pressure drop is pretty big on this cooler compared to a better flowing core. At the end of the day the more flow you can get the more power it will produce.
There's no point in having that actual cooler as we had it designed as a combo. You are best going for a forge universal core with the tanks you require.
