I still show that video to anyone who'll listen.
I'll never forget bouncing right off the limiter through the Conwy tunnels because I couldn't hear my car for the noise of yours behind me lol
@Jonff old 172, I genuinely love this video. His 172s with this exhaust sounded unlike any Clio I've ever heard!
And this Clio r3 compilation is just p**n
Use it as a digital photo frame/music player and keep it for a few years until Apple fanboys are willing to pay mega bucks for an original iPad after everyone else has thrown them out.
Come along to oulton next time I'm there or csf and I'll take you out in mine. I know it's a 197 but tomato tomato.
I know you keep being tempted by them but I got 144 miles to £30 the other week lol.
That's pretty ace!
Do you need to touch it for it to work or can you control music and stuff through the steering controls/radio?
By all means knock a how to up. I'd like a read
I can't believe how high these are on standard suspension! That's mad
It looks epic on the bilsteins. Did you remove the subframe to fit them or just undo anything and everything you could from the hub?
The pics alongside your 172 really shows how good these look as standard against the mk2s...
When you say it takes a lot of time to make one image, do you have multiple images with different settings and then layer them or one RAW image and you manually duplicate and adjust it?
I wouldn't recommend that, especially in this weather. You don't want to be pouring boiling water onto anything which is freezing.
See if a local member has any tar and glue remover they'll let you use in exhange for beer tokens
Autosmart tardis or carpro tar X
Spray on, let it dwell, wipe off
Or if its stubborn, saturate some paper towels in whichever you buy and press it on until the glue is soft enough to wipe off
I don't know if you've heard one in person but they are worth the money imo
They don't video well but in person they're epic. They sound almost like r3 exhausts. Just not as loud lol
I have heard people with bad experiences of these on 182s. I wonder why they're so different on 197s.
I was properly stamping on them at Blyton and oulton (before it died) with no fade or judder. For the price of them I think they're ace.
Oem brembo pads were disgusting. The car was shaking...
I find Hc discs and ds2500 pads, and ate supergold a brilliant combination on my 197. Perfect on the road and adequate for my needs/talent on a track
