Also noticed after the beeping the cpu fan keeps spinning but the motherboard fan stops spinning

Having trouble with my pc upgrade atm. I basically have a DFI Lan Party NF4 SLI D motherboard but unfortunatly I dont have a manual. When I boot up all the fans come on, inc. the fan built into the motherboard but it beeps. I get one long beep then 2 short ones. Thing is the long beep sounds...

Got a new 160gb hard drive for ready for a new upgrade and winxp installation. Thing is can I format as NTFS now under windows then just install windows on from scratch or would I have to use Fdisk then so on??

I'll prob get a 80gig sata drive then as theyre cheap enough at the moment. Would the computer be funny if you had a sata for a master drive and ide ata for secondary??

Has anyone on here noticed a difference in performance in these types of drives?? Im still using ide drives atm and thinking of upgrading one of them or maybe both as the one Windows is on is fat32 and a bit corrupted, wont go to ntfs for some reason. Is it worth the upgrade??

Sounds like a pop up - wouldnt recommend installing it without checking it with a virus cehcker as could be or contain spyware.
