Ive managed to delete the "My computer" shortcut from my desktop and don't how how to get it back - anyone know how??

Not everyone has the crap start menu

If you don't then, Start -> Control Panel -> Display -> 'Desktop' tab -> tick in there.

i quite like the newer start menu mainly cause i just fill it with all my shrotcuts theres more room. Set icons to small and just use that for all my main programs. keeps the desktop tidy.

Ditto, get rid of the themes service running and change everything to classic and it works so much quicker.

I find the new start menu very useful for getting to computer management, my docs, etc.

Also keeps my desktop cleaner.
