the lambda wont cause the car to run on 3 cylinders, it may run a little poorly as it will be rich if in default.
unplug each injector while the engine is running, when one doesnt make a change to the engine sound, this is your problem cylinder. Plugs, leads are the mail culprit.. possibly...
The 1st lambda control the closed loop fueling, the 2nd is basically a check to see if the cat is still working.
The oil thing as has been said is total and utter cods....
your toxic emission light "may" come on but it means your cat is not working.... (but you know that as its not there)
it...
you should be able to fit a 12" single there, many brands and suppliers are available for these... shop about and read the spec as some of the cheap ones are poor.
Yes, it comes with al brackets and clamps required for fitting but it might also be worth checking your mounts before ordering as we can suply these as well should they be needed (at extra cost).
David.
they are designed to slow the throttle response down for EURO 5 emisions.
they dont shut the throttle fast for the same reason, they also have a large heavy flywheel that slows down the engine response.
its also a common complaint, that they have poor low down drivability and reponse...
SO...
ITBs give amazing response, very drivable and have an "instant" feel to the throttle. as Dan correctly says, economy on a run is about 330 miles to a tank at 85mph approx, round town stop start is about 300 miles. will give 190-200 bhp on std engines.
Just finished doing the test calibration...
Exactly, I am in full support of the way forums help people make decisions and how people can leave unbiased feedback.
It not only highlights any issues but helps us put them right, it also keeps us on our toes as the power of a forum should never be underestimated.
I am now off to wrap...
Sorry guys but whenever our stealth is mentioned it is always the same 2 or 3 people that comment. As we have sold over 1000 of these the percentage of issues we have had is incredibly low, especially since we launched the Mk2 version a few years ago.
Anyway this is a topic about suspension not...
With forums being such an easy way of informing people of good and bad experiences/products we would hardly sell a lot of our exhausts if they were no good.
The only "pathetic" area of this thread are your posts so why not run along and get to bed early otherwise Santa won't leave...
Hardly a childish comment, V-Maxx sell a lot more suspension than we do as they are a suspension company. The fact is we used to sell ALOT of the V-Maxx kits until we introduced our own entry level kit. And the reason ours kits have sold well has mostly been down to the positive feedback we have...
We sell the Janspeed system as this was the first 182 system we developed. Janspeed used our car to develop their system and we also had a couple of changes made to make the system how we wanted it. This is what is referred to as the Janspeed system and we always carry these in stock.
David.
Well since we have been doing our own kit and following rave reviews in Cliosport we are now selling around 20 KTR kits for every 1 V-Maxx kit.
I hope this helps.
David.
The spec of our kit is very similar to that of the FK kit and the KW V1.
I hope this helps and the fact we had to have 100 kits made means we are able to offer them at such a good price. If we were to only order 10 sets at a time the price would be closer to £500 for the kit.
David.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
there was only a 15lb ft variation from 150 lb at 3500 to 150 at 7000 rpm with it peaking at just under 165 in the middle.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
you need to have even air flow into each cylinder, you adjust each butterfly valve to give the same flow rate.
this is important for drivability and starting and idling
