Re: Ultra Red 200 ordered.
We are on the same page here. I've spoken with my dealership (Motorline) as they're putting a full tank in my 200... Told him I don't want to see it flying down the road with some spotty oik driving it. Wouldn't have got a new one if I wanted it to be the dealers...
Another 5-6 weeks or so for me then, faaaak my life needs to hurry up got an operation on my knee on the 8th of may, best be able to walk when the thing arrive or i'll be P******sssssed!
Got a call from the Stealership today saying that my 200's gone in to the factory..... Anyone have any experience of how long it takes them to throw an RS together & ship it from their?
All paint fades regardless of colour... Not only that all you've done is go in to further depth to what I was getting at..
Fact yellow is a C*** to colour match, fact all colours fade, some worse than others, yellows & reds are common offenders of this.
No it doesn't always come back through...
As above, a decent 172 Cup is quicker, 182 although nice was a little bit of a con in the fact it was barely lighter than the normal 182.
172 cup = no air con, no creature comforts, no abs etc, great little track cars. Buy a decent base car and it'll serve you well.
The issue you have with paint stripper is that if you spray over it, it will eat back through! Therefore generally you would need to grind all effected panels down to the metal & further on those effected.
Yellow is a tw*t of a colour, very difficult to paint match as it fades.
I would say they would notice, Inductions easy to change over, discs stand out to me at least, vocally exhaust is obvious and de cats are illegal 91 onwards if the vehicle had one fitted from standard. Look at your contract.
If anything surprising the culprit in the act will make the damage worse as it'll scratch the sh*te out of it trying to run away!
I just believe owners should take more responsibility regardless of what it is Dog, Cat, KIDS! big one there. The fact is if it's on your land its vermin not that...
I like animals generally, but I can't say I'm fond of Cats to be honest, think it's b*ll*cks that they can come & go as they please, sh** on anyones property & damage vehicles & the owners don't tend to give a ....
Personally believe they should be held under the same rules as Dogs.
I'm not that fussed about the monthly payments, I put next to no deposit down & I hardly spend my money on anything else monthly so why not. All tax deductible anyways.
It's what ever works best for the individual, to me putting 8-9k deposits down on something thats 0% doesn't make financial...
Naturally the higher the octane the more concentrated the fuel is if you like, therefor the ecu in theory at least should equate for this thus changing the fuel to air ratios. Higher octane = bigger bang.
I've always found through my racing the setup of the engines are vital! reeds, carbs, chains, sprockets, fuel pumps, exhaust valves, fuel pipes, exhausts ect... we ran on pretty much standard out the box motors that a friend of mine used to setup for me! all that we were concerned about at that...
Mines set to 12k miles per year, doubt i'll even do that lol. I have a guaranteed buy back value of 5.5K but they said themselves they think it'll be worth more than that probably around 7.5-8k.
Only live once, can't take it with me.
As I recall Renault where very quick to nock off £1500 list price & with my 3K of extras the whole cost of the car is around the £20,580 mark. Hope this helps.
No problem, Clio 200 in RS I.D Pearl White. Cup packs, Speedline cup wheels in Black, Cup Spoiler, Recaro's, Bluetooth upgraded stereo with Gap insurance & total piece of mind pack chucked in for free which is basically tank of fuel, RS matts & a full valeting super guard kit (cars also getting...
