Ok but i was not refering to the end of the graph, i was looking at a LB 172 graph from the other nonth thats all, same scale and the same shape with the little hump at peak torque except shifted by 600 rpm or so.
What gear did you use?
232lbft based on this graph?

Compared to other curves i'd say the tacho is out (about 500 rpm) and will change the displayed torque. Nice power though. The one i did the other week made 226hp on the final run i think.
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Yes, I chose to make them smaller because it is an N/A engine after all. I'd be happy to map it again if you wanted to go up in boost though!
Danny you are really starting to get on my nerves now. What do you have to prove. You are a complete tool, comparing 2 different cars on different dynos is totally pointless. Letalone two different makes of Dyno! Maybe Jon's car does have that much torque but till both go on the same rollers I...
Been deadly serious. Their remap is done by adding a set % to the advance maps. WOT figures never tell the full story, you'll see a much improved midrange and acceleration with a map custom to the car.
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
They are not that sensetive no. Same map. No changes. Same afr when I finished mapping it in the first place. I'll even send you the whole snapshot file if you want, just couldn't be bothered explaining myself to you before seen as all your posts...
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Not by much but it will be cleaner at the top end. Despite what some will say the AFR does not make that much difference on these really.
Have a look :)

Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Yes is far too high if the gauge is reading correctly.
The fuelling dips to 10.7:1 in the midrange but indicated by the bosch sensor which isn't that accurate (they often read a bit richer).
It still needs to be checked over for sure. I might lean...
The kick is NOT coming off lean burn at all, the car has the required fuel WELL before 5k. It's actually down to the CL-OL delay TIME and not set rpm when it goes from lambda 1 to x:1 based on ms of injection on the main VVT ON map. VVT control is based on RPM, switched on at 1500rpm and above...
Just looked at your graph again, it's very very down compared to one i did the other day even on 95 octane with less advance. It's possible that VVT is stuck or similar but 100% there's a HW problem.
It needs lots of logs to see WTF is going on as the top end is totally fine
Andy, the low down on yours was totally different to what had been seen with other 428's. Thats not a normal pattern for them although i have to admit your pipers seemed to do the trick!
We could do it cheaper but this includes nearly £900 (ex vat) worth of radiator, fan, cooler and oil cooler combo.
My own car is running with a modified stock rad and universal forge intercooler which would cut costs but not look/perform as good.
This is the decision we took on our kit as it...
It's supposed to 9:1 but the gasket used has probably taken it closer to 8.5:1 and for the lack of low down boost is too low IMO. It's running similar to the kit we do on stock tensioner but the belt run is slightly different on mine, i need a shorter belt and new bottom idler because it was...
Well we've finally had time to get this running again but for some reason she's not making boost, we think it's slipping the belt as i have a slightly different setup compared to before. It's running 282hp at the moment with only 0.7 bar so not too shy just not quite 300+
Dropped the...
