Even if he does, it's not an AW customer, i am the only one so far to have stock of the new alloy front end that i had to work hard to get them perfect! I'm sorry you have paid ben for something but that's not my issue although i honestly do feel for you as i never realised you'd paid anything...
Andy, Danny clearly has issues with me so it's time to get to the bottom of it.
Its always related to GDI and staff/customers so lets have it out. Who has said what and when, will be an interesting one this because so far nobody had actually said ANYTHING.
If i'm so bad at mapping why the...
The HP figures are NOT wrong due to the roller tacho. On the DD the only affected number displayed is flywheel torque. This is something in shootout and it's been proven time and time again. I can leave the same roller ratio and run the car in 3rd or 4th and the power will be within a couple of HP.
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
When tuning for every last horse then yes maybe but for this car and this setup this is the afr I mapped. You do. Like that and that's fine but quit the BS about washing bores. It needs to be way richer to do that. Next time I'll think power power...
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Best call renault and tell them they cant map then because the megane runs 10.5:1
You will NEVER get bore wash at that. Yes there is a limit like anything but 10.5-11 is not it!
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Oh sorry my bad
There's a reason it's rich and it's staying that way. Thanks for your helpful comments though.
Can take it yes, but not easily. Seen so many standard bottom ends fail with various issues including rings, throwing rods and broken pistons. These have been totally stock standard with NO mods at all.
11:1 and boost is never going to be THAT reliable.
That's the retail price we have been told so dunno but if they are a little cheaper then that's a good thing!
Can't remember the pulley off the top of my head
169 is good but without seeing it on mine it's impossible to compare the numbers. I know what they should and shouldnt do on my own dyno which helps greatly when mapping them!
They run them lean to meet the criteria, richening them up makes them run better so yes it's safer. The things you dont touch are knock correction as this is a helpful thing!
