The 120 compound is the softer/one to go for isn't it?
What are the 180s like?
I'll find out next Friday when I try them myself but I want to know what to expect in advance
I cracked on with filling the wheels today with chemical metal. They're not looking too bad so far.
They'll be getting a final keying tomorrow followed by a coat of primer (which will probably show up sooooo many defects) and then a coat of satin black.
Either look good tbh. I wasn't expecting to say that from a what wheels thread.
The bottom one would need lowering to look 'right' imo
Also, is there meant to be some black vinyl in between the front and rear door windows?
Bit of an odd one.
I've been falling out with the cs3s fitted to the 197 recently.
It started on a spirited country drive last year when the rear got a bit squiggly on perfectly dry roads. Normally it's always properly planted with cs3s all round.
Then at oulton I could not get traction...
The more fire, the merrier.
I was on my own last year after the two lads I came up with went and got a hotel lol.
Everyone was more than welcoming though :D
So I picked up the speedlines on Friday with the aim to have them resprayed White.
I didn't realise how close the oulton track day is and I started smoothing out the defects in the wheels to fill with chemical metal. It's a bit overkill but I got carried away.
Thankfully, only two...
Mega chav.
Bring this to csf.
And take me out in it.
...pretty please.
I properly love evos, and turinis. That looks amazing, so much want.
Do these have fog lights behind those caps or are they just blanks?
@MrBlonde here was the car park on the afternoon... Most of the cars went to the afternoon track session and the ones from the morning session were parked opposite these
Obligatory yellow pic
Here's a few of my pics, that said I didn't get many.
Cheers to everyone who made it out today and had a cracking time in spite of the awful weather. Sod's law that it got better when we left.
I think thirteen of us in total came out in a decent range of cars. The Meg 265 sounded brilliant...
