Sorry to hear of the problems you've had.
If you have no luck with Renault, Budgie and I will drive out with an engine and fit it for you if you cover our expenses etc. Will be cheaper than buying a new engine from them!
Lol this convo tbh. Think people should leave it at what they've said.
Anyways, hopefully you should have no further problems James. And now you've got the 'Elite' race support to assist you! ;) I'll email you costings for me and mike and also the contracts. ;)
Ah right my bad, yeah as Phil said just cut the stuff out you dont need.
Also I wouldnt worry about an open circuit error with regards to the airbag system, as long as you have all the airbag etc removed then it'll only be the light on the dash that will be on.
Yes, simply unplug the whole loom that connects from the door to the shell itself.
Also regarding the airbag loom, turn it off, then remove the airbag from under the top part of the dash. Easy job.
No worries, they were the original ones from the Cup before I refreshed them as the bushes were tired. So hopefully they'll be the ones spaced for more caster.
The mad thing is even Renault say that there's only one type of lower arm, may be the case that they've just stopped all the variations of lower arm as they all fit anyways.
I quite liked the interior on the GT86, the leather alcantara option made it a nice place to be. Personally thought it was a far better place to sit than the Clio.
However for driving performance/involvement it really isnt cracked up to what people have made it, the Clio trounces it in this...
Surely you can't go too mad James with the castor, with our 172 Cup they have more castor than the other Clio range because of the lower arms plus I think with once our top mounts are fitted to max castor we'll be nearly touching the front of the side parts of the bumper.
Hassle of finding parts and modifying them to make it all fit, plus John at R-Sports words... 'The cup racer suspension is rubbish, after all it was just a generic/control suspension used so it wasn't ment to be good stuff. Just stuff that works and sets an even playing field'
He did say if you...
