The 2nd blue one is still worth considering surely? £800 for the car. £200 for a set of 172 wheels off the bay. £100 for bumper £500 for Belt change at Birchdown/BTM £1600 for a 172 you could probably sell on for £2k+ ?

Mine does the same. I only notice it from cold however. If you stand outside the car while its running you can hear the engine revving, then droping down, then im guessing the ECU notices revs have dropped it revs again. So it gets stuck in this cycle of dipping revs and correcting itself. I...

I still cannot believe that after all this time of people "bodging" exhaust hangers that there isnt a reinforced version available for sale. The rear hanger fair enough its very easy to remedy but the middle hanger is just a block of rubber that wears very fast :(

Ok so dont choose an Acer. But thats the beauty of Windows platform it isnt a monoplosiation and there are plenty of brands to choose between. Vaio, Acer, Asus, Dell. Lots to choose from really and in terms of hardware, you get more power for your money by avoiding MBP.
