Fair enough.
Was nigh-on impossible to get a straight answer from the dealer at the time, indeed from anyone! Sure there was going to be a wider track (presumably from the 172) but then Renault came up with the 'super dooper' tyres and the seemed to very little conclusive proof of what you...
^^^^^^^^
I'd assume 182, as 172 cup doesnt have ANTHRACITE wheels.
Does the cup'd 182 'aqctually' have any wider track?? I remember when I spec'd mine out from new, there was a big thing on it just being better, harder walled, tyres on the anthracite wheels, and that the wider track was...
Looking great Craigy! Try and join us for the forth coming V6 Southern meet at the coast fella!! You know where we are... on the 'other' forum.
late boy
Good fun eh Ali.. !?
I had a spirited drive in my m8's t350c last year, we swapped cars for an hour or two. Lovely cars to drive, once you get over the totally different driving position to the Vee. Seems rather odd having ya feet over to the far right of the foot well lol. Awsome cars...
Took my V6 across from Northern France, down to Monaco, back up through Switzerland, back over to the West coast of France and back to Portsmouth last year.. no problem! well, except a coil pack going that I replaced myself in Nice lol.
Have had a 172 and a 182 before, no problems!
Even if...
Err.. I think not fella.
'Lots' cars have had a "bump".
'Some' are cat D, which is beyond "economical" repair.
'A few' are cat C, which is not only beyond economical repair, but also means the car has suffered substantial damage.
Well thats the jist of it anyway iirc.
Sure, if...
Forget it.. No-way worth the money that's being asked for it. If it was a Cat D.. hmmm.. if it was in really tip-top condition with a documented repair job, with pre accident pics it may be worth that sort of figure.
I'd stear clear if i were you fella.
I guessed it was a cup, lol, saw your other thread. Lovely looking example!, dispite whats happened at the moment, still seems like a great buy fella. All cars have little glitches.. just unfortunate you've only just bought it.
I dont know the Norwich area myself. I was hoping you'd be close...
Seems like it went into safety mode, limited to 3k revs. Cant be anything too serious. Try and get it on a diagnostic machine. Also, try calling the guy you bought it off, politely ask if he ever had any problem with it. Where are you based.?
Looks like you've probably got yourself a very well pampered and maintained car there fella! Cant imagine there'd be too many left that remain un molested. So many end up modded and messed about with, good to see an original one. Hope you enjoy it and look after it! Nice one!
May have seen you this morning about 07.10 heading towards Fleet from Cove. Hadn't seen a Trophy about locally for a while!! I was coming out of Fleet, by the Harvester.. wasn't in the V6 though.. works Caddy van.
Bonnet bra's are gash.. Can only act to hamper aerodynamics, something a 1.2 Clio could use more of! lol. How about using Armourfend or Venture Sheild if you want save the paint work!? Would probably cost less than that automotive langerie..
Just my opinion though.. ;-)
