Yeah... quite different! take a look at one in a dealer or even in a car park! Obviously the overall look of the dash is the same, but there are many differances id say!!
I had my mk1 172 for 3 yrs untill trading in for the 182 with cup packs. I loved the 172 to bits, fast, handled great! looked fantastic! Then came the 182..... so much better than the mk1 172.. The 172 is a great car... but compared to the182 it just seems a bit un-refined, which will suit...

Actually.... the guy doesnt say its a "Renault sport" bumper.. just Clio sport.. which would surely mean its just off one of the lower specd "clio sport" range!??
I started a post on this problem a few months ago... Had the work carried out under warranty as i explained on the post. Its a wiring fault as "rcp_" explains. It took the technician only about 20 mins to fix it, once hed found the correct wire stated in the memo from Cobra... Had no probs since!!

Your dealer should be quite happy to check your car over for any damage (or lack of it) to it prior to them doing any work to it. They have a car plan sheet to make note of any damge found upon inspection... you then just sign it to confirm the condition of ya car!

Hiya... my 182 has both cup packs. Im sure im right in saying the suspension is 3mm lower, track is the same but ride is firmer. AND ofcoarse the better tyres on it (exalto 2)
The deeper cup spoiler on the roof looks so much better too, and the front spliter. imo.
