NOOoooooo!!!! Christopher! lol...
It so doesnt match the front end.. as nice as it looks by itself.. Still, at least you'll be keeping all the original bits. I know how well you look after things.
Coming down to Kimbolton in it to show us..?
And end up with a car like yours fella..? lol ;);)
Best policy to adopt there is to simple get out of the morons way I'd have thought. Sounds like a complete tool..
In English please. Or do you mean something like;
" No worries, people will know a good Clio driver when they see the ClioSport.net sticker"..?
But even that doesn't carry much weight here does it..?.. lol
Seriously dude, had to read what you'd written six times before I could make any...
Taken from a similar thread a few days ago Tim. As has already been mentioned, all the same running gear etc. These are the differences from the 'regular' 172.
LOL... I'm all there apart from the sealing bit!.. Heard of it.. but never seen any. I really ought to search this on here.. Any recomendations for B/G.?
Great help fella's.. :)
Cheers guys. I took the first step last year and bought some Megs Smooth Surface Clay. Its still in the box lol. The car 'looks' great as it is, but I feel there's room for improvement.. certainly the tail gate has collected some 'fall-out' and roughness. Too late to do it before WSR now though...
Nice work fella! B/G looks amazing when it has that 'just waxed' look.. that'll be about 10 minutes untill the dust settles.. lol I think its about time I bit the bullet and gave the Vee some clay bar attention. I've held back before as I've never used the stuff and i'm scared shitless about...
No problem bud!
They do look good, and I can relate to what Chris is thinking too about mods. But I guess as long as it can be put back to standard for re-sell, no harm done.
I think Titanium compliments the silver pods and wheels on the Black/Gold Vee very nicely when parked together on...
Hi Ed.. I bought one new back in 2001. I hadn't even seen the colour, or the interior lol. I'd test driven one of the first batch of 172's as I knew someone at the local dealer. It was a great car! but I was left slightly un-impressed by the overall appearance of it compared to the Williams it...
Highly unlikely..
Current Clio Cup race cars also have roof scoops.
If the write up by the OP is correct, its surely unlikely to be turbo'd either, unless the engine size is reduced, as he says the Gordini is aimed beneath the Renault Sport models. Nice looking concept though!!
NO...
Dont get any runs etc.. if you do, flatten them with fine wet&dry carefully. Wipe the paint with 'spirit wipe' to remove silicons and dust etc prior to laquering. iirc.
Cheers Bazzon.. thinking about it now, you are ofcourse correct. ;)
I once looked at a mk2 V6 with one of each lol. I chose not to but that particular car. When I went back to veiw another from the same dealer the following wk end, I noticed he'd replaced the black one with a matching grey unit.
As far as i'm aware, 182 lights will fit into a 172. HOWEVER, the lamp surround behind the lense is black on a 182 and light grey on a 172. You're probably better off buying the pair fella.
I dont know first hand that the units are the same apart fron the colour, but I have seen 172 and 182...
No points for being a 'Have a go hero'.. I'd imagine "Renault", know nothing or very little of the on going problems scottydog's having with his car. The Renault DEALER however, seem to be trying to fix it, all-be-it unsucsessfully.
Hence why taking the matter further with RUK would be the...
If the dealer you bought the car from isn't playing ball, but it seems they've been quite helpful, get onto RUK.. perhaps do this either way. Give them a full run down of what has gone wrong/replaced.. how much you like the car but getting very frustrated and so disappointed with this particular...
