Agreed... mine was a very early 182.. only one on the CS stand FCS 2004.. lol imagine that now!.. lol.
'Most early ones are likely to be 2004 registered.. but ofcourse, they can still be on a '53' plate as 04 stared on either 1st March iirc.
Good luck with the search James.. Would have...
Great looking car.. really like bare, clean cup racer theme. Spoilt by tacky looking stickers though imo. I suspect this is the tip of the ice-berg.. lol Bye bye tastefully modified 172.. hello boy'd up 172..
Sorry Chris.. just my opinion.. its your car bud. Enjoy!
Hey..! no problem fella.. you should've done just that.. as it happened, we pulled over into the slight layby on the otherside of the road 'just' sfter passing you!
The other weekend drivers were a pain in the butt.. too true.. lol Great road, I did it about 4 weeks ago with another 2 friends...
NNOoooooooo!!!!
Bo11ox!.. I missed it...! Was out in the Vee for the Southport/Blackpool meet, and didnt get back untill gone 11 last night.. set off at 7 sat morning and barely got out the driving seat inbetween the two.. so was shattered.. completely forgot about the drive this morning...
I believe that "Sagem" coils are the OE to the V6, but it seems that these are the ones that occassionally fail.
Peugeot ones tend to be supplied by "Valeo" which seem to be of a better quality and 'appear' to fail less frequantly.
As Oldskoolbaby said above.. if you want no further issues...
Hey Chadwick! Yeah, saw you at the last second so didnt have time to wave.. barely managed to get a smile out.. (no miserable old git jokes please you lot lol) Jainy was in the lead, then me (late boy), then Godber (Oldskoolbaby) and then K1ano. Lovely little drive across the Pass and onto...

Make sure you get those...
As many have said before.. not unbelievable at all that not everyone likes them. The V6 is far too 'different' for most to like them. I dont like BMW's generally but that doesn't mean I dont respect the marque and the German build quality etc, great cars.. just not for me. As for Tins o'beans...
Very nice Martin.. I think you've put that over very well.
V6's are still likely to get slated by those that just dont like them, and who take great pleasure in just slagging them off, thats their perogative and opinion.
In reply to those that think Vee owners drive around in rose tinted...
Cool..
Personally, I didnt buy mine as a posing wagon, infact I was shocked at the amount of attention it got. But like I said, thats not why I bought it, if I wanted a posing wagon I'd have bought a convertible. For me, the attraction was having someting a little different. I've always likes...
You're a very funny guy gaz..!
I like people that are prepared to think outside the box.. show a little thought and imagination.
They certainly wouldn't be looking twice at a BMW 330 that looks little different to any other 3 series seen on any street in any town all over the world. Nice...
And then there's the folk that will just never grasp the whole concept of the V6, wether they've been in one or not.
Hows the lardy under powered 1.8 Jap wanna be sports car going btw.? ;)
