If they sacked everyone that did it in my company they would be a fair few people down now.. Every time we get bad floods we have several roll in with flood damaged engines..
Got a 50mm 1.8 in the post this morning so decided to have a play around the house. Not sure if this is any good but I liked it, so I uploaded it..
Any C&C Welcome..

Artic just did this on his 172 cup and replaced it with a PAS rack from a 1.2 Clio with electric Power steering.. He said it feels better, but at the end of the day it's down to personal opinion..
Had one of these as a hire car couple years back and loved it.. Only thing it was missing was Xenons.. Apart from that it was spec'd right up.. Good choice.. Looks tidy..
From personal experience any coilovers sub £600 won't get you a setup better then sportlines and standard/cup dampers..
The entry level coilovers are probably not going to make it handle any better, if not worse..
I would say its not worth the extra..
I would also bet you most MOT testers wont even notice it doesnt have rear reflectors.. The tape will simply keep the cops happy.. As said above though lots of means and ways around not getting in trouble, I just used this method on my lights and it was fine..
Best to get in contact with Josh mate.. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/member.php?39424-Cooksport
He will be able to tell you exactly how much. Mine were done so long ago now..
I've been in a couple of Clios with suprisingly good standard audio..
But as seat a good HU and a decent set of speakers is your best bet.. The 6.5" speaker upgrade will give you your best output, because you can get more bass from a bigger woofer..
This happened to my engine after having pops and bangs map, I had it repaired in situ and its been perfect since..
let me know if you want it doing I know someone who may do it..
