So phone one of those certain numbers to prove them wrong. A compatition line is normally a good one and who knows you may win. I normally take part in Fives Gadget Show compatition from time to time :)
If this mainly happens first thing in the morning after leaving it over night, or parked up for long periods then its the TDC sensor which needs cleaning or replacing which is a common problem.
The tightness you described is also common. Its the ECU throttling the car while it waits for the...
Yeah thats what i fear as well fuller seeing how the whole unit appears to have dropped inside the housing, rather than the unit swinging loose which i would assume would happen if it was only a loose motor connection.
For that price the processor is the main thing you want to budget for. Anything "Intel Core Duo" or "Intel Core 2 Duo" if you can get it would be the biggest deciding factor IMO as RAM can be added at a later date.
Same problem on my passenger side Xenon. Popped the rubber cover off and the whole unit appears to have dropped inside the housing and is free to move. Popped the cap off the driver side to compare and that is fixed and has no play in it.
Just phoned and canceled.
Went alittle like:
"Hello how can i help?"
"Hi i recieved a text message from Orange about call charge increase, im not happy about it"
"Ok well it means ..... <insert conditions>..... and we can offer you an additional 200mins per month on your bill"
"No i wish to...
Damn. As much as i would love to do this i need to be on Orange for the Magic Number feature otherwise i would be paying through the nose for calls to my GF. Argh.
They are some impressive photos for saying they were taken on a mobile! Nice location too.
Are you both coming on the Matlock meet by the way?

Just browsed Yozzas website and i didnt spot anything. Im guessing its a phonecall job. Shame they are so expensive as they look amazing and i imagine its a simple upgrade as well :)
I considered getting a Williams before my Ph2 172. But for the cost of a good condition Williams there wasnt much price difference in it so i went for the 172.
Does the rest of the car vibrate or only the mirrors? If you touch the inside of the pillar near the mirrors can you feel the same vibration?
Could be wheel balance thats out which is causing it.
Ive just ordered Brembo HC front discs and front OEM pads from AutoNation:

£96 delivered. Cant complain.
Ive tried giving it a soak with wd40 and your right loads of crap was in there. But i havent tried the putting a bar through the standard to tighten it. Cheers will give that a bash later :)
Right. Had another bash with the stock Tow Eye but im really stuck on how i can fit this. As you can see from this picture:
After getting about 2 full rotations it sticks and will not tighten. It appears to move towards the upper right corner (which makes me think its out of allignment) and...
Not really no as i havent had the bumper off and you cant make out the socket through the hole as its too dark to photo.
Pepsis idea was to put in the Renault Tow Eye and bash it to see if it knocks the socket back into the correct position.
The thread doesnt appear to be the problem, its more that i think the whole socket has been bent to the side so its now out of line with the hole in the bumper.
Urgh yet again another simple job complicated on my Clio!
Got my Tow Eye from Si which looks great so figured i would just pop it on and be done with it but it wont screw in! Every time i turn it and it starts biting on the thread after about 1 full turn it tightens towards my foglight and...
