Pepsi get a V6! You love being part of this community and your very knowledgable about Clios so combine both and get a V6 :)
S2k are very nice cars but dont have the rarity value of the V6.
Glad you like them mate, it was nice to meet another member from CS. They deffinately make it look nicer!
Get some LED sidelights and Silvatec indicator bulbs next on the shopping list ;)
Pepsi's lowering garage in action again eh? (He fitted my Eibachs this afternoon) :)
Aparently hes done about 15 or so peoples Clios now. Impressive stuff.
Very well put.
At least the 172 > 182 > 197 all looked vastly different to avoid being confused with either other and to mark the upgrade. Who can honestly say the same about the 197 > 200 jump? Compared with the other incarnations of the Clio Sports these 2 are basically twins to any passer by.
So hold on. Your saying:
With the door open:
- Turn the ignition on, then off. Repeat twice
- Shut the door
- Remove key from ignition and lock with button from inside
And this should give 3 beeps to disarm the sensors? Does this mean the car will still auto-lock if left but the alarm will...
I dont really care how it performs. Id say the vast majority of 200 owners arent buying them to race on tracks so performance comparisons dont really matter at this moment seeing how track projects are mainly 172s.
So with that in mind id say the main concern is how it looks which is basically...
Checkout the traders section of this forum to find companies who offer you a discount by being a paid member here. Those will probably be your cheapest.
Ah nice choice of motor. I started with a 1.4 Si.
Grab some clear side indicators and silvatech chromed indicator bulbs! Cheap mods that look spot on :)
On mine i bought some Ph1 172 alloys and tyres for £170 off ebay and then lowered it on some Eibach Prolines. Loved it!
172 wheels are normally 195/45's. 45 being the tyre depth. So id aim for similiar if possible otherwise wait until those wear down and upgrade when it gets to replacement time :)
Hmm looks kinda like Stenson Fields type roads. Could be way off of course.
Nice pics! A decent camera is something i keep meaning to borrow as mobile phone pics always look half arsed.
It all depends how long you have owned it to be honest. I think companies are only legally required to offer full refunds up to 14 days after purchase? Might be wrong not sure.
This. If it was as simple and cheap to fix as he says then surely he would have done it and sold a working Clio for a higher price?
Sounds like theres something else broken that is being smoke screened.
Jordi the light in your pic is basically the "something, somwhere is wrong" light. It can be anything from brake sensors, emissions you name it.
When the garage took the readouts of the codes they would have no doubt cleared it but as its already come back twice now its obviously faulty. Id...
Hi carl,
It sounds like your being dicked around mate. Personally id take it to an independant garage via a rented trailer or recovery truck who knows what they are talking about. Do not go straight to the warrenty garage as they will try everything to avoid paying out on expensive work. And...
Over priced IMO.
£4.2k for an average mileage 7yr old car with no air con, xenons or leather interior? Other than an enthusiast i doubt you will sell at that price.
If the seller is having the work done by Renault then dont worry! Renault will charge the guy an arm and a leg on a problem like this because they know they can make potentially a small fortune!
Just wait and make sure you see an itemized receipt :)
