That is absolutely bang on!
It's rare to see a black car done justice in pictures.
My only gripe for such a perfect OEM car is the wheels, as much as I like 2118s, it either needs lowering or larger (Anth turinis) wheels fitted.
To play devils advocate, ipads were seen as a solution to a problem that didn't exist at first.
I said "I don't see the point in a massive ipod" but here I am, using it every day and would have another in a heartbeat just because.
The watch will go the same way imo.
I'm just not looking...
Ace! Best colour too.
I don't think 250/265s can pull LY off, the facelift though is bang on.
Bit of a shame having the wheels scratched :(
I'm not a fan of the stickers either but they do define the car. Much like the tat chucked on the r26/r27s lol
Regarding running it in, this.
The Polish won't be breaking down then, with you leaving it at speed 5, you've cut out the original defect, but left your own marks in the paint.
By coming down the speeds you're 'buffing' out these machine induced marks.
That's all I can think of anyway. Hth :)
I found G3 scratch remover is ace on a cutting pad. Readily available from halford's too.
It finishes well too.
How are you working the polish?
I use the zenith technique and have got brilliant results on hard paint.
Yes! I work opposite him and he always gives a wave when we leave at the same time haha
Small world haha.
His 182 is always immaculate and sounds lovely.
Yeah I work in hawarden right by airbus.
Hopefully you've not seen me one the mornings when I'm running late
Where is it you work?
Just noticed "7:50ish" lol! I start work at 8:00 so I'm guessing you've seen me look a bit stupid lol.
Lol, cheers @Bear Head.
There's a few hobbyists about like myself and @aucky, @Earlesey who will be happy to help.
Otherwise you'll be looking at the professional companies like shinerama or magic detail.
There are obviously more about, these are just off the top of my head.
The masses love s**t wheels.
And white cars.
And black roofs.
We need to stop nitpicking and accept the new clio is dead to us.
Hopefully they don't butcher the Megane next. My money is on a 1.8T with full auto and only available with seven seats.
I thought renault were done making s**t special editions?
How long before the clio renaultsport 220 (sorry, the are esse 220) becomes standard and you can spec it to be identical to the 'trophy'
To be fair, they were doomed to fail the moment they made a sporty car for the masses, rather than for enthusiasts.
Now they're trying to turn the car they made for people who couldn't give a s**t into a car enthusiasts would want.
And the first thing they thought of was "black roof and...
White 200 with red front blade being a yob and playing with a yellow 197 on Saturday.
Black ph1 172 heading towards costco from the texaco roundabout in Ellesmere Port today around 4:45
Saw this on fb the other day. I think it needs some black and flame red vinyls to bring it together rather than just look like a cut and shut.
Kind of like this
Sell the black car or have it resprayed a lighter colour.
It'll reduce the visibility of the marks.
Seriously though, give it a must with a quick detailer before drying, then rinse over the quick detailer before patting it dry with a towel.
When waxing, dampen the applicator a little...
