How long are you leaving it before removing? Iirc on the initial test I took the piss a bit applying it thick and leaving it for a while, it still came off fairly easily.
I'm sure @Bear Head has a step by step how to saved.
If not, someone will be by shortly to explain. If not, I'll hop back in after the undateables.
@TheDippingLab Have just been made traders on here. They're based in Crewe right by the station and are a nice bunch of guys.
Despite the name, they do paint too.
...get it hydro dipped in carbon? :o
That makes sense actually, cheers.
I heard some daft bint saying 'ah id like one, but the colour is a bit of a fad at the moment' when talking about my car.
I was all "b**ch please! This colour has been around since 2004! It long predates yellow cars as a fashion!"
I wouldn't have thought they'd just change it willy nilly, I was just curious as to whether the colour mix was altered when the colour code was changed.
I know they changed the paint code from j37 to whatever it is, but I was under the impression that this was just a coding alteration.
Yesterday I saw a 265 in LY and it looked a lot... Warmer/deeper/more 'mustard' than the liquid yellow found on the 182s, r27s, 200s, r26s and 250s. I've not...
Look for the 182 bumper removal guide.
I imagine ours are the same.
It's fiddly but you can get the 182 ones off with the wheels on full lock.
Two bolts behind the front arch liners
Two bolts on the under tray
I forget the amount holding the top bit of the bumper under the bonnet.
I wouldn't seriously recommend those pikey alternatives I said lol, but I'm sure you can pick up a clay kit (clay, cloth and lube) for £15ish in halfords
Detailing on a budget :o
When I was speaking to a guy at work about car cleaning he was saying "you'll never guess how to get tar off a car!" When I suggested wd40 as the budget method of choice he said blu tak. I couldn't really fault his logic. Not that I'd do it myself mind.
Good effort.
