Couple of questions to do with the OEM brakes, what Diameter are the standard discs? Any idea how much the OEM brembos are worth? are they radial mount or normal lug mount?

lol. Did you put the 172 hubs in with new bearings? or just bang em on? If they were new, then that's impressive bearing consumption! :D

sounds good. As you say the radiator 'flat' is very thin, so something like 1.5/2mm would be ideal. Not easy to weld!
if the sensor has moved/bent or the ring has moved then the sensor could be clashing with the ring. It's a slight possibility but not a common one.
Wheel bearings are something you can do at home, but it often requires you going to a garage with your new bearing and your hub to have the old...
a re-gas would do it good probably. Does the little fan work on your cabin sensor? It's a little unit near the interior light. It's quite a cheap little sensor, you could try changing that.
