but then the advantage of the VAG engines are that the boxes are good for the power. (sub 320lb/ft or thereabouts). If you were going for an evo engine you'd want to keep the strength of the evo box. I am assuming that a colt box is going to throw toys earlier tho... The whole Idea sounds...

Evo engine Ponders. What about gearboxes though? the front/rear diff is going to cause a few problems to start with surely? The tuning parts are so varied. You really can have whatever power you want, but i still think the 20v is slightly better suited. edit: Anyone know what the blocks are...
