it's been said a million times, but the 5k kick is not the VVT cam timing. anyways, my 172 burns no oil at all. Not a drop ever. So how much is yours actually using? When did you apply the RS tuner map? Is it custom or off the shelf map?

Sorry. Not a project as yet so wrong section. Pics would be good when you can post em. It's not a bad idea. Be aware you'll need RS skirts if you want RS wings. Give serious consideration to buying another car too.

I do know that renault have revised the shafts with better clips since the original ones off the 172 Ph1 and 2. Maybe the 182 has the revised clips? Probably be reet with any RS shaft tbh:D

partition magic is not free but it is easy. Personally I think you'd be better off resizing D: and using it for documents/pics etc, and then use C: for OS and all programs. Then if you need to rebuild you don't have to move and files about or backup

RSi mounts are normally pretty easy to source. Best forums to find parts are williamsclio.co.uk and clio16valver.co.uk Alternatively have a look round the local scrappys. They have a 1.8 8v engine, no flared rear arches, engine code F3P, quite easy to identify
