go for Emerald or Omex 600. Very little to choose between them.
Loom - Could speak to wizard race looms in northampton if you want a really nice job, depends where your mate is based.
Maps are easily loaded using software specific to ECU (free from websites)
If it's for a clio, speak to GDI...
you've linked the same one twice, but it's a good monitor
I've got a samsumg 226BW. Never let me down in 2 years, still looks great, no dead pixels. I have a mate with a similar model (he has 2 of the same 22inch) and he's had no problems.
Thats actually got a better contrast ratio than mine...
I think you'll be ok with the new ktec mild one. It'll last longer than a renault standard part.
Their customer service is excellent. Speak to them directly.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
That's fine mate, just run it around for a while and the hydraulic rocker supports will fill up and it'll tap less. It's just that the head has been standing for so long.
F7P (1.8 16v) are cheap as chips and always available. Try and get a goodun and many of them will benifit from a top end rebuild.
F7R (2.0 16v) - same engine, longer stroke, noticably more usable power, more expensive, williams or megane - megane runs distributorless though so there are...
i'd say do it once do it right.
get yourself some omex/emerald and go from there. If you lean-out and screw the engine you've just built your going to be upset
that seems quite a lot to pay for it tbh. Not sure what you'd make back selling parts you don't need ie wheels
I thought the issue with fitting these is the gearboxes? The 225 6 speed is too long to get in the clio bay. Not sure if you'd get a 1*2 box on, probably i'd imagine.
See if you can...
difficult stuff tbh. Most of the valver turbo guys just use them stock as far as I know.
But renault gearboxes are not strong as I'm sure you know. It's one of the big advantages of using a VAG 20v.
Personally, I'd go with the gripper, but not bother with any of the others, just buy a spare box.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
I'd so go for the cheaper replacement BE. Rather than the ache of finding larger shells and so on..... But it'd need a good checking over to avoid an unhappy ending :(
I have photoshop 7 (fail I know, but at least I can use it:o)
Can I do batch photo resizing to a custom resolution?
If not, is there a piece of software that can?
cheers
